Over the past six weeks, P5 have been working hard with our friends from Damhead P.S. and Macosquin P.S. in our Shared Education days. We have had many opportunities to develop our friendships, through engaging in collaborative and meaningful learning experiences.

Our Shared Education partnership focuses on STEM and problem-solving, with lots of other fun cross-curricular activities. Our activities included coding with Spheros, producing a legacy piece of art to display in each school by creating handprints to celebrate our uniqueness and showcase our gifts and talents, a scavenger hunt of school grounds, using the Clips App to mix pictures, music and titles to create clips reflecting our new friendships, practising teamwork in volleyball, using our PATHS knowledge and skills to compliment our new friends, learning mindful breathing techniques, making electrical circuits and chromatography investigations, as well as getting to practise our dance moves! 

We really enjoyed working together and making new friends during our fantastic learning experiences and we are looking forward to seeing you all again for our summer trip!
