P.5/6 Shared Education Day 1

P.5 & 6 have been working hard with our friends from Damhead P.S. and Macosquin P.S. on our first Shared Education meet of the year! This year we are meeting virtually using the Collabrate Ultra platform. Our Shared Education partnership focuses on STEM and problem-solving, with lots of other fun cross-curricular activities. Today’s activities were all in the area of “Christmas Maths” and what fun we had!

Our activities today included testing our problem-solving skills using Kahoot!, solving a range of Christmas-themed Bar Modelling problems, creating our own Christmas Bar Modelling problems for our Shared Education partner schools to solve, and consolidating our learning on 2D shapes by creating our own Christmas trees!

We really enjoyed working together and we are looking forward to seeing you all again after Christmas!
