P4/5 learn about camouflage in nature 🦋
9th Mar 2022
In topic work the P4/5 children have been learning about animals which use camouflage to blend into their surroundings so that they can hide from predators; this is an essential skill to have if they want to survive!
The children were challenged to colour a butterfly so that it would be camouflaged in our classroom. We then invited Miss Russell and the P3 children into our room, they had the task of trying to find our camouflaged butterflies. Some of our butterflies were so well camouflaged the P3 children couldn’t see them 👏🏻 Great learning boys and girls! 🦋
