Learning outdoors

Learning, problem solving and investigating taking place today.  Discussion of capacityand volume when filling and emptying containers.  Activities promote proprioceptive  development. Children are carrying heavy buckets and containers filled with sand and water.   Children are working together to make water move and  to control the direction in which it does.  They are discussing how to change the direction of the flow of water.
