Learning about the Water Cycle
3rd May 2017
Anna from NI Water visited our class today to teach us all about the water cycle. We enjoyed learning more about where our water comes from.
We learned about how our water is cleaned and why things like nappies, wipes and ear buds should never be flushed down your toilet. We made our own filtration systems using bottles, cups, cotton wool and sand.
We we also learned some amazing facts:
- NI Water clean 560 000 000 litres of water every single day!!
- Dinosaurs could have drank the same water we drink today!
