A special day to celebrate a special lady…

A busy day in St Eoghan’s celebrating the feast of one of our patron saints - St Brigid. We had opportunity to research her at home, and shared our learning with our class. We then used our rushes to make St Brigid’s crosses,  also a great opportunity to apply our mathematical skills and knowledge -  clockwise, quarter turns, vertical, horizontal, parallel, perpendicular.
