Future engineers in Primary 2/3
2nd Dec 2019
Today the children in primary 2 & 3 became engineers. They were given the task of building a house made out of straw or sticks for the three little bigs using straws, lollipop sticks and masking tape. Their house had to have 4 walls and a roof. The aim was to build the strongest house that would not move or blow over when the big bad wolf tried to blow it down. The children demonstrated fantastic team work, creativity and independence. Great thinking skills being developed. Take a look at some of the houses we built. We concluded that the house made of sticks was stronger than the house made of straw.
