Exploring Tangrams in P4/5 🔷🔺🔸▪️🇨🇳

Today we explored Tangrams in class. These 7-piece puzzles originated in China over 200 years ago. The boys and girls enjoyed manipulating, flipping and turning the shapes to make lots of different pictures. There were foxes, deer, dogs, flamingos, horses and cats. 🦩🐕🐈🦊

Tomorrow  marks the first day of ‘Maths Weeks Ireland’ and the children are looking forward to lots of practical Numeracy learning next week.
