Cross Country 2017

After weeks of trials and practice during PE lessons our girls and boys cross country teams attended the South Derry cross country championships on Monday 10th April. We had a hugely successful afternoon with Faolán McNicholl from P7 coming in 3rd place in the boys race and Eva Quinn also P7 coming in 3rd place in the girls race. 

All our runners were placed within the first 15 home which was a fabulous achievement for a distance of 1300m!!!! 

As a result our girls team came 3rd overall in the competition and the boys came in 1st place for the second year running!! 

We are so proud of all of you, huge congratulations and well done to you all. You ran brilliantly and represented our school magnificently 👏👏👏
