Confirmation 2018

Congratulations to our wonderful Primary 7 class who were confirmed by Bishop Donal McKeown in a beautiful ceremony in St. Columba's Church Straw on Sunday 29th April. The children were so reverent and prayerful throughout the ceremony and everyone who read, sang or brought gifts did it to perfection. 

The boys and girls were also lucky enough to take part in a parish retreat before their Confirmation which they thoroughly enjoyed and we are very grateful to the Derry Youth Community and Fr Madden and Fr Downey for their support throughout this important time in our P7 children's lives. 

I am sure you'll agree they were all looking very handsome on their special day!
