Baronscourt Day 2018

Primary 7 spent a wonderful day on 18th April exploring the Baronscourt Estate in NewtonStewart as part of our ongoing involvement in the Pushkin Project. It was fabulous to have the chance to become one with nature and to use our senses to inspire our creativity. Everyone has really enjoyed the project. 

We also had an excellent work shop led by Liz O'Connor who helped us to take a soil survey of the grounds around our school and taught us about earthworms and their importance for our plant life. It was brilliant to be able to take our Science lessons outdoors and explore the Pushkin theme -"The Opening Ground" In such a hands on and fun way!
